This product is an innovative, sustainable alternative feed ingredient designed to partially replace traditional feed materials such as corn, barley, and wheat bran. It is available in both powdered and pelleted forms, offering flexibility for different feeding systems and preferences. It is derived from processed residues of the human food industry, including byproducts from rice, olives, dates, pomegranates, pistachios, apples, and similar sources.

Production Process

The product undergoes a multi-step processing method that includes both physical and chemical treatment, followed by nutritional enrichment:

  • Physical Processing:
The food industry residues are thoroughly dried using specialized equipment. Then, they are treated with saturated steam at 100°C for 40 minutes in a conditioning unit. This step significantly reduces anti-nutritional factors such as tannins and ensures the deactivation of pathogens and mold toxin prevention.
  • Chemical Processing:
Approved additives and preservatives are incorporated to enhance digestibility and extend shelf life.
  • Nutritional Enrichment:
  • High-value feed ingredients are added to compensate for any nutritional gaps, improve palatability, and increase the overall nutritional value.

Nutritional Composition

Benefits for Livestock:

  • Reduces feed costs significantly
  • Improves digestibility and nutrient absorption
  • Provides suitable energy levels for growth and production
  • Enhances animal health and reduces disease risk
  • Highly palatable and well-accepted by animals
  • Acts as a practical substitute for corn, barley, and wheat bran

Benefits for Feed Manufacturers:

  • No grinding required: 70% of the particles are under 1500 microns, leading to lower electricity usage
  • Compatible with existing feed formulations, replacing part of grains and fiber-rich ingredients, simplifying and speeding up production
  • Improves concentrate quality while reducing overall production costs

Recommended Inclusion Rates:
